A Child’s Guide to War – #WhatsYourPeace?

September 22, 2015

A Child’s Guide to War is a documentary film project that aims to bridge the civilian-military divide. One way in which we do this, and promote peace and love, is through joining children into the conversation. We create peace in the hearts of children by allowing them a safe space to talk about war and the military. We include children who are affected by war through having military families and children whose knowledge of war generally comes from the media. Through bridging these gaps and experiences for children, we hope to engender support for a stronger, more understanding and peaceful future – with children and adults understanding further how the military can play a part in peace too and how it affects families. Pictured here is Producer Susan Hackley, with a family in Indiana discussing with this family how they experience war as it relates to them.
