2019 Global Development Forum

The Project on U.S. Leadership in Development at CSIS is hosting its 5th annual Global Development Forum (GDF) on April 11th, 2019. This half-day conference explores how the United States can work with its allies, the private sector, civil societies, and multilateral institutions to tackle complex global challenges. Each GDF has an opening and closing keynote address, a high-level plenary panel, and six breakout sessions, some regional and some topical. This year’s GDF is focused on the future directions for development. The plenary panel will be on infrastructure and will coincide with the release of the report by the CSIS Global Infrastructure Task Force. The breakout sessions will be on urbanization, debt sustainability, human rights, workforce development, and stabilization.
