Institute for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention Annual Conference: Frontiers of Prevention II

April 5—6, 2019

The Institute for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention at Binghamton University is holding their 2019 annual conference beginning the morning of Friday April 5, and concluding on the evening of Saturday April 6. Frontiers of Prevention II has two objectives. The first objective is a critical assessment of the status of existing genocide and atrocity prevention mechanisms, and an exploration of emergent mechanisms and actors in the global effort at atrocity prevention. The second objective is to organize an open forum where leading academic researchers with research programs dedicated to prevention can meet with practitioners, both in government and non-governmental service, fostering critical exchange and finding new grounds for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
