Join this event organized by DT Global and DT Institute, featuring AfP’s Director of Policy & Advocacy Megan Corrado!
On Thursday, December 2, DT Global and DT Institute will convene stakeholders from the U.S. Agency for International Development, the United Nations, think tanks, the private sector, and academia to explore innovations and emerging issues related to the operationalization of USAID’s newly released climate change strategy. The off the record virtual gathering will consist of two back-to-back facilitated panels to garner technical and practical insights from experts and thought leaders. Together, these panels will go beyond surface-level reflections to provide insights aimed at better addressing the climate crisis in the developing world.
Panelists will delve into timely developing topics to promote a deeper understanding of potential challenges and opportunities related to the on-the-ground implementation of USAID and the US government’s strategic priorities. Information provided by the panelists will help USAID capitalize on emerging trends and innovations as it seeks to operationalize its new climate change strategy and maximize the impact of US investments and engagements in developing countries.
AfP’s Megan Corrado will serve as a panelist for a panel on emerging issues in climate driven migration/relocation and the climate-conflict nexus, from 11:00am - 12:15pm ET!
