Join this workshop organized by the NYU Center on International Cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, and the Centre for Humdata, featuring AfP’s Shaziya Netto DeYoung and Saurav Upadhyay!
As conflict and violence become increasingly complex, peacebuilding and prevention practitioners are searching for novel approaches to tackle the growing challenge. Emerging technologies and data science methods have been recognized as potential tools to tackle some of these challenges across the humanitarian-development-peace nexus. Exchanging lessons in the field of emerging technologies is a natural part and the next step of these efforts. This offers a platform for this exchange to happen.
AfP’s Shaziya Netto DeYoung and Saurav Upadhyay will take part in the workshop’s panel: Advancing the Use of GIS in Peacebuilding, on Wednesday, December 1st at 10:15am!
