On Thursday, January 23rd at 10am ET, the Alliance for Peacebuilding (AfP), Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBBI), the International Civil Society Action Network, Rotary E-Club for World Peace, the Center for Civil Society and Democracy (CCSD), and the Vitol Foundation will host the first in a series of events focused on the transition in Syria. 

Now that the Assad dictatorship has ended, the future of Syria and the region hang in the balance. This event will feature Syrian civil society leaders, who will share their insights on the key challenges, concerns, priorities, and needs that must be addressed to advance peace and democracy.
