As AfP works to strengthen and advance the peacebuilding field approaching International Day of Peace, we are honored to partner with NewGen Peacebuilders, Outward Bound Peacebuilding and Rotary International Zones 33 & 34 to host the launch of the Youth and Peace in Action (YPA) initiative on International Day of Peace, September 21st.

YPA is the largest youth peacebuilding initiative in the U.S. and Caribbean spanning high schools, youth clubs, and organizations to share peace education, training, and mentoring content, resources, and experiences. As of September 14th, there are 300 high schools and youth clubs/organizations participating, representing more than 250,000 students. An engaging 1-hour virtual Kick-Off event will be co-hosted by young peacebuilders and feature youth performances.
