In early 2024, Digital Peace Now (DPN)—a global movement of more than 130,000 digital citizens from 170+ countries who celebrate the internet and look to it for connection, opportunity, and inspiration—became housed within the Alliance for Peacebuilding (AfP). AfP is immensely grateful for DPN’s past leadership in demanding that the internet does not become a battlefield, as well as raising awareness of the risks and urging the prevention of cyberattacks that disrupt our daily life and the stability of the modern world. AfP is proud to now carry forward this work and advance the peacebuilding field to better educate and build awareness to prevent cyberattacks—thus preventing violence in all forms and building sustainable peace.
Read below DPN’s past work, including their #StillVulnerable campaign, a collection of real stories that sheds light on the destabilizing risks of cyberattacks—as well as analysis and other commentary on key cybersecurity issues.
